Meals are bountiful and beautiful culinary affairs in High Hampton Inn’s beautiful Dining Room. Served in a gracious and hospitable “Southern family” style, the cuisine makes use of fresh, seasonal ingredients and traditional recipes that have been handed down over generations. Favorites such as High Hampton fried chicken, local rainbow trout, and herb-crusted roasted prime rib or New York strip steak are accompanied by locally grown vegetables and produce, and homemade breads that showcase Cashiers dining at its finest. Breakfast, lunch and dinner offer relaxed (and delicious) opportunities to enjoy family and friends, High Hampton style.
Afternoon Tea in the Lobby
A time-honored family tradition at High Hampton Inn, afternoon tea celebrates the lost art of quality leisure time and conversation. Tea, coffee and homemade cakes and cookies are served in the lobby of the historic NC mountain inn every afternoon from 4 p.m. to 5p.m. This hour provides a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a relaxing social hour with friends around the fireplace, or pull up a rocker on the front porch with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Rock Mountain Tavern
With an outdoor patio offering a breathtaking view of Rock Mountain, the Tavern is a fun and charming place to meet friends. Libations are served from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., and live music provides some of the finest Cashiers entertainment for your enjoyment.
The Hampton Market is a new addition to the High Hampton Inn & Country Club. You can shop at the Market for items like fresh produce, meats, gourmet cheeses, prepared gourmet salads, party platters, wine, beer, rustic breads, desserts, dairy products, and a selection of dry goods, including organic products, and gourmet deli sandwiches. The Market caters to golfers for sandwiches, beer and sodas.
