High Hampton’s Social Community
High Hampton home owners enjoy a richly satisfying array of social activities that reflect the vibrant life at the historic High Hampton Resort, with its seasonal rhythms, traditional celebrations, and recreational opportunities of every kind.
In addition to partaking in all that the resort offers, home owners add their own private club activities that make it delightfully pleasant to renew friendships, and form new ones. Members enjoy lighthearted golf scrambles and tennis round-robins by day, and parties in the Tavern by eve. Generations return year after year to fish and boat, swim and play in High Hampton’s 35-acre lake.
They hike mountain trails together, join bridge tournaments, share watercolor classes. They host grand family reunions and unforgettable outdoor weddings in the pavilions or on the grounds of the resort. High Hampton’s unique Dinner in the Dahlias events are merry affairs. There are old-fashioned picnics, joyous holiday events, and an astonishing and wholesome array of fun for the children.
Today, the Resort includes golf, tennis, fitness, spa, and other amenities, and welcomes guests in both free standing cottages and the reconstructed Inn building, which is larger than the original with three stories, and contains a majestic four-sided fireplace and distinctive exterior shingled in local chestnut bark
High Hampton’s community members enjoy a social world like no other — gracious, traditional, natural yet refined — a mountain lifestyle that refreshes, renews and inspires.
